About Me
I ground my work in embodied education—the view that learning begins in the body, moves through emotion, and settles in thought. I design teacher‑training programmes and community workshops that turn this idea into everyday classroom practice. Since completing my PhD at IIT Jodhpur, I have led more than sixty workshops for educators across India, from village Anganwadi centres to teacher training classrooms, each blending mindful movement, local stories, and reflective dialogue.
My book Education for the Embodied Human (Brill, 2024) distils these insights for a wider audience. Current projects include an ICSSR‑funded seminar series on embodied teaching methods and the launch of Edulogue, a platform offering modular training for teachers nationwide.
Beyond workshops, I teach courses on policy analysis and research methods, supervise studies on NEP 2020 implementation, and run Shiksha Swaraj Foundation, which pilots embodied‑learning modules in rural schools.
